The project of the DPS company in the final of the FAA "ROSDORNII" competition

DorProektSignal (DPS) has reached the final of the competition of projects for the road industry. The competition is held on the basis of the accelerator of the FAU "ROSDORNII".

The site of the accelerator of the FAA "ROSDORNII" (https://rosdornii.ru/proekty/akselerator/ ) was organized in 2020 and is the first accelerator created for the tasks of the road industry. The peculiarity of the accelerator is that the participants of the program are given the opportunity to receive not only support in business development, but also technological expertise of innovations with subsequent testing in pilot regions and scaling within the road industry.

30 best projects were selected from 160 submitted applications for the final of the acceleration program of the spring session 2022 (https://foundrdo.ru/page27112973.html). The jury consisted of representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Federal Highway Agency, the FAA "ROSDORNIA", large investment companies and industry organizations.

The finalists included the Dorprojectsignal company's project - a Traffic Optimization System (SOT). The SOT project is aimed at solutions in the field of modeling and optimization of traffic management. The system is based on the use of local adaptive control or pre-calculated coordinated control. A scientific approach to the calculation of signal plans for switching traffic lights will help to optimally manage urban traffic flows.

(MVP) "Traffic Optimization Systems" has passed the integration stage with the Vector Automated Control System (PJSC Electromechanika, Penza) and testing of the calculation functionality of multi-program traffic light object control. The development of the project is promising and will be refined to the level of the central link of ITS (intelligent transport system) of urban agglomerations.
